ETA United Kingdom: What is it and how do you apply?
The ETA is a digital travel permit that you apply for online via a special app. This permit is valid for two years and allows you to visit the UK multiple times. The ETA is similar to the ESTA in the United States and the ETA in Canada, and is intended to tighten border control and ensure security.
Who needs an ETA for a motorhome trip to the UK?
The ETA is mandatory for travelers visiting the United Kingdom for:

- Short study periods
With an ETA, you are allowed to stay in the UK for a maximum of six months. For longer stays, such as working or studying, a regular visa is required. Children and babies in your motorhome also need their own ETA.
